Bond Pearce Logo

Bond Pearce has, in association with NADP, set up a helpline service on legal issues arising out of Part 4 of the Disability Discrimination Act.

The purpose of the helpline is to ensure that all professionals working in post 16 education with responsibility for the provision of services to students with disabilities are able to access quality legal advice on issues arising under the Disability Discrimination Act at a reasonable price.

About Bond Pearce

Bond Pearce is a client focused law firm working with organisations in the commercial and public sectors. It has a particular expertise in the area of disability in the education and retail sectors.

We bring experience from both into providing a commercial approach to managing the issues of disability within educational establishments. We acted for the DRC in advising on the legal issues on the post 16 Code of Practice and we have since provided:

  • training
  • audit of policies, procedures and practices (excluding physical access)
  • assistance with drafting policies and procedures
  • action planning to comply with the DDA
  • advice in relation to specific student disability issues to a number of HE and FE institutions

We have had the privilege of speaking at NADP conferences and at conferences organised by SKILL and the LSDA which went out to every College In England and Wales; as well a multi-media training package in conjunction with a company called SkillBoosters.
