The aim of this table is to highlight to members and those, who might be thinking of joining NADP, the national disability working groups we have representation on.

DfES DSA round table group J M Palfreman-Kay, Elaine Shillcock, Clare Horrocks <james@nadp-uk.org>, <elaine@nadp-uk.org>, <clare@nadp-uk.org> every 3-4 months This working groups aims to reviews the recommendations to come out of the other DfES disability working groups.
DfES Quality Assurance Group (QAG) Clare Horrocks <clare@nadp-uk.org> every month with additional sub-group meetings focussing on specific areas (so far, I am not involved in any of these) QAG is putting the framework in place to quality assure support accessed through the DSA scheme.
DfES Specific Learning Difficulties working group J M Palfreman-Kay <james@nadp-uk.org> every 2-3 months This working group aims to have a draft report ready by July. Consultation with stakeholders between July - December 04.
DfES Mental Health Working Group J M Palfreman-Kay, Sue Meads <james@nadp-uk.org>, <sue@nadp-uk.org> First meeting was on 30th April 04. The aim of this working group is to support students with mental health issues to access the DSA.
DRC Post-16 Working Group Deb Viney <deb@nadp-uk.org> to be confirmed Met last year; no current plans to hold another meeting but we are keeping in touch by email.
Mental Health Advisers Working Group Sue Meads <sue@nadp-uk.org> 1 meeting per term Aims to maintain and discuss good practice between staff, who have responsibility for supporting students with mental heath issues.
SKILL HE Working Group Elaine Shillcock <elaine@nadp-uk.org> three times per year An advisory group to SKILL to support the development of policy, taking forward their work of liaising with Government and encouraging good practice amongst practitioners.
