Membership levels and fees
Full Member - £86.50 per annum
Has one vote, and is eligible to stand for any elected office within NADP.
Open to all appropriately qualified and skilled staff who are experienced in arranging support and providing specialist advice to disabled applicants and students studying at the tertiary level and to the staff working with them.
A full member must have at least 3 years full time experience (five years part time) in this or similar role. Those who cannot meet the three/five year rule initially may join as Associate Members and transfer subsequently. The three/five years condition need not be gained in one post only but accumulated over several. Documentation required to accompany application for full membership is detailed on the application form.
Associate Member - £65 per annum
Has one vote, but cannot stand for national office.
Open to all appropriately qualified staff who deliver services to students with disabilities engaged in tertiary education. Also to those who arrange support and provide specialist advice to disabled applicants and students studying at tertiary level and to the staff who work with them but have less than three years full time or five years part time experience of delivering this support.
Retired / Temporarily unwaged - £43.50 per annum
Has one vote but cannot hold office.
This level is open to those who have been a Member, Associate Member or Additional/Associate Institutional Member of NADP and have since retired.
This category also includes those who have previously held membership but are presently on long-term sick leave and receiving no pay. Each application for this category will be considered on an individual basis.
Institutional Membership - £238.00 per annum
Each Member has one vote and those who qualify under the Full Member criteria are eligible to stand for any elected office within NADP.
This level is open to all HEIs and FEIs who are represented by NADP by up to three employees designated by the Institution and eligible for Member or Associate Member status.
The designated members all have one vote and anyone eligible for Full Membership shall be eligible to stand for office at national level. Other members of the same Institution may join NADP as Additional Institutional or Associate Members.

Additional Institutional Members
- Up to 3 Additional Institutional Members
- Full - £43.50 per annum
- Associate - £32.50 per annum
- Four or more Additional Institutional Members
- Full - £27.00
- Associate - £22.00
Have the same voting and other rights as Members and Associate Members.
This level is open to staff who satisfy Member and Associate levels, and who work in HEIs and FEIs that are Institutional Members of NADP.
Affiliate - £76.00 per annum
This level is open to all who support NADP's mission statement, but who are not employed in a manner that would qualify them for any of the above membership levels.
Special Interest Group - Assessors / Assessment Centres
Assessors can become Full, Associate or Institutional members of NADP.
